The Kruzsa M3 had the distinction of leading the race at mid distance before their one and only pitstop, whilst the Atkin car came from dead last at lap 4 to finish 4th, after a storming drive through the field due to an early unscheduled pitstop which was required to check contact damage.

The race also featured Kumho tyres sponsorship and Peak Race Tyres on track support. Kumho shod cars filled 8 out of top 11 qualifying spots and 7 out of top 10 finishes proving Kumho tyres are fast and durable.
